TPA3255 is a high-performance Class D power amplifier chip that boasts Class D efficiency and delivers truly high-end audio quality. This device features an advanced integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction function (PurePath™ Ultra HD). This technology enables the device to maintain ultra-low distortion across the entire audio frequency band while exhibiting excellent sound quality. The device operates in AD mode, capable of driving up to 2 x 315W/4R loads and 2 x 150W (unclipped power)/8R loads at 10% THD, and features a 2 VRMS analog input interface, supporting seamless connection with high-performance DACs such as TI's PCM5242. In addition to excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 also combines two major advantages: high power efficiency and ultra-low power level idle losses (below 2.5W). This is achieved through the use of 85mR MOSFETs and an optimized gate driver solution, which significantly reduces idle losses compared to traditional discrete implementations.
