This model is equivalent to STK412-030, with identical external packaging dimensions and pin functions, allowing for direct interchangeability. The design output power is 100W+100W @6 ohms, with a distortion level of THD0.4%. The reason why this series of thick-film power amplifiers was chosen by JVC is reasonable; not all high parameters necessarily represent good sound, just like how many people still prefer the sound of vacuum tube amplifiers nowadays. The performance parameters may not be high, but the sound is pleasing to the ear. This amplifier can generally achieve satisfactory results for bookshelf or floor-standing speakers. This thick-film chip was specifically customized for JVC products at the time, making it relatively rare to see on the market.
