The power amplifier module STK433-270 produced by SANYO in the later stage is said to be a product of ON semiconductor (Avago) after acquiring SANYO's production line. It incorporates Avago's design and technology, and the appearance of the products produced during that period changed from the traditional ugly black shell of the old SANYO models to a sleek and refined design. The internal craftsmanship also saw significant improvement. Objectively, the sound quality far surpassed that of the old SANYO models. Unfortunately, few of these products from that time are still available today. At that time, the vigorous development of the Internet and the widespread popularity of various portable devices (especially large-screen touchscreen phones) caused many people to gradually forget about these high-performance desktop devices. Those once renowned audio manufacturers had no choice but to change their product direction, resulting in these customized products being stored in the warehouse of SANYO's packaging factory in the Philippines for more than a decade.
After receiving and testing the module, I found that it still has considerable potential。
DIY is very simple, as the entire board has been tested and requires no debugging; DIY, upgrading, and modifying speakers are all good choices.
This model of module is a three-channel 60W device, with a default full-range output signal. When used as a subwoofer, the bass channel needs to be connected to a low-pass signal input.
