Product information:
LogicPirate is an open-source logic analyzer that is affordable but powerful. It can sample 8 channels at a rate of 20 million samples per second and may be overclocked due to faster acquisition. It is designed to support the open-source Soft Logic Analyzer protocol, and the software can be used on most operating systems.
Product features:
8 channels
256000 sample record sizes
A sampling speed of 20 MHz may be overclocked to 60 MHz
When merging different speeds or channel numbers, it does not affect the sample size
Simple configurable edge detection triggers for all inputs (simple or trigger)
Configurable sample ratio before and after trigger (rolling sample buffer)
5 V tolerance input (low-level voltage<0.8 V, high-level voltage>2.0 V)
The transfer speed to PC is about 500 kB/s (256 K sampling takes approximately 0.5 seconds)
Data capture can be stopped at any time from the host software
Cross platform host software for Windows, OS X, and Linux
DIY friendly 0603 components and SOIC packaged on 2-layer board for use
The car mounted 3.3V voltage regulator can provide up to 400mA of current for external circuits
3cm x 3cm miniature printed circuit board
Firmware update through built-in USB bootloader
The probe cable and acrylic casing can be obtained from Seeed Studio
Open source PCB (EAGLE) and firmware files
Some features of OLS host software
Use up to ten freely placed cursor for precise measurement
Automatic cycle, frequency, and duty cycle measurement
Display channel groups in the form of hexadecimal values and/or analog signals
Analyzer for a large number of protocols: single wire, I2C, JTAG, SPI, UART, etc.
Size: 30.48mm x30.48mm x0.16mm
