GCAN-212(CANET-II) is a high-performance CAN-bus bus communication interface card that integrates 2 CAN interfaces and 1 Ethernet interface. Using GCAN-212 high-performance CAN interface card, users can easily complete the interconnection of CAN-bus network and Ethernet network, and further expand the scope of CAN-bus network.


GCAN-212 High-performance CAN interface card is a powerful tool for CAN-bus product development and CAN-bus data analysis. PC can be quickly connected to CAN-bus network through Ethernet interface to form CAN-bus network control nodes for data processing and data acquisition in CAN-bus network fields such as fieldbus laboratory, industrial control, intelligent community and automobile electronic network. At the same time, the device has the characteristics of small size, plug and play, and is also the best choice for portable system users.


GCAN-212 has integrated a CAN interface electrical isolation protection module to avoid damage to equipment due to instantaneous overcurrent/overvoltage and enhance the reliability of the system in harsh environments.

1. TCP Server mode  
In this mode, the GCAN-212 will not initialize the connection with other device. It is waiting for the connection from TCP Client, after establishing the connection, they can communicate in two ways.



2. TCP Client mode
In this mode, the GCAN-212 will initialize the connection with TCP Server configured before. If not success, it will continue to try connecting TCP Server based on the default set. After establishing TCP connection with TCP server, they can communicate in two ways.



3. UDP mode
In this mode, the GCAN-212 need not to establish connection with device. UDP protocol is used for data communication.
