Around 2009, we launched a MA-9 amplifier kit, which many experienced audiophiles must have played with and received very positive feedback. However, it is regrettable that over time, the number of burn enthusiasts who were enthusiastic about hands-on DIY gradually decreased. In view of this, it has been decided to reshape it. After all, such a good sound circuit should not disappear without a trace!
Circuit Characteristics:
MA-9S2 is a relatively classic amplifier that adopts the topology of the HDAM-SA module. Its input features a special DIAMONDBUFFER circuit, with I/V mirror circuits implemented between voltage stages for excellent front-to-back matching characteristics.
The output stage employs current feedback configuration, delivering exceptional control over the load. If the input capacitor is short-circuited, as the circuit lacks inherent feedback capacitors, it can be regarded as a fully DC amplification circuit with outstanding electrical performance. In practical listening tests, it delivers less cold, bright, and fast sound than expected, instead showcasing more detailed and pleasant characteristics with a broad and expansive dynamic range!
